Most men keep putting it off. Until they're older, until they're in better shape, until there's an occasion. The years pass, the photos never get taken, and the record of who they were is never made. You will never look more like yourself than you do right now.
I've spent twenty years behind the camera, and the thing almost no man expects is how it feels to finally be looked at — really looked at. Most of us have spent our whole lives taking everyone else's picture.
I'm Jorge — your director, your guide, and your cheerleader for the next ninety minutes. My job is simple: to be three things for you. The one who sees what you can't see in yourself. The one who tells you the truth about how you actually look. And the one in your corner the entire time, until you forget the camera is even there.
I spent ten years in front of the camera before I ever stood behind one — Wilhelmina, Q Models, campaigns you'd know. I know the exact moment the lens turns toward you and your body forgets how to exist. I've felt it. So I guide you through every second of it.
When my father passed, I went looking for him in photographs — desperate for an image that held who he really was, his presence, the way he carried himself. I understood then how much a single true portrait can hold, and how much it hurts when it was never made.
That's why I built Varón — private portrait experiences for men, done with direction, discretion, and emotional honesty, here in South Florida. So no man has to disappear without a trace, and every man can be truly seen, once, while it matters.
