Plan on two to three hours start to finish — a relaxed prep, the session itself, and your reveal. You show up. I handle everything else.

What exactly is La Cita?
It's the first session — the way every man begins with Varón Portrait. A 90-minute directed session with six finished images, your same-day in-person reveal, a planning consultation beforehand, and The Varón Guide sent in advance. Plan on two to three hours start to finish.
How long does the whole thing take?
The session itself runs up to 90 minutes. Start to finish — relaxed prep, the shoot, and your reveal — plan on two to three hours. Nothing is rushed, and you never leave wondering what you got.
Who sees my images?
No one, unless you choose to share them. A confidentiality agreement is signed before the session begins. Your images are never posted, never used in a portfolio, never shared in any form without your explicit written permission. This applies to La Cita exactly as it applies to every full session.
Do I need to be in perfect shape?
No. The men who produce the most powerful images are never the ones who arrived feeling most ready. They are the ones who stopped waiting for a version of themselves that felt worthy enough — and showed up as they actually are. That is the entire point.
What should I wear?
We plan wardrobe together during your private consultation — tailored to the session you have in mind. As a rule: solid colors, fitted pieces, and one thing that means something to you — something that says something true about who you are. You bring what makes you feel like yourself; I guide the rest.
Can I do more than six images, or a longer session?
Yes. Many men add images or a print collection at the reveal, once they see the work in front of them. And if you want a longer, larger session down the road, La Cita is the natural place to start — you'll already know exactly how this works and what you're capable of in front of the camera.
